Greek architecture was another revolutionary time in history. The Greeks were very involved in their religion so Greek temples are very thought out and were important to the ancient Greeks. They were the originator of the columns, which are an architectural feature still used to this day. There are three types of columns, the doric, the ionic, and the corinthian. Each were used during different time periods and were styled slightly different from the others. The ancient Greeks took a large step forward in the world of architecture.
